Fleece Blankets

Our custom fleece blankets are 100% polyester, velveteen mink fleece for an ultra-plush feel. These personalized fleece blankets are a lighter weight as compared to Sherpa and are a favorite for large photos and images. Personalized fleece throw blankets are printed on one side and have straight edges.

FAQs

What is the difference between the sherpa and fleece fabrics?
Each fabric has a defined look and feel to the touch.

Sherpa blankets have a smooth knit printed front with a soft, poly sherpa back. Sherpa is more forgiving and works with a wide variety of imagery, especially art.

Fleece blankets feature plush velveteen mink fleece on both sides and printing on one side. Fleece blankets work better with photography and imagery with colors that have more dimension due to the nature of the fabric as you brush over it.

Are the custom blankets with pictures printed single-sided or double-sided?
Both of Sensaria’s custom photo blankets feature one-sided printing with a white backside. Personalized fleece blankets feature the same material on both sides while sherpa blankets feature the fluffy poly sherpa material (similar to wool in terms of warmth and softness) on the unprinted side.
Can the blankets be washed?
Yes, both types of customized blankets can be washed.

Sherpa blankets can be machine-washed in warm water on a delicate cycle. Tumble dry low. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.

Fleece blankets can be machine-washed in warm water and should be washed before first use. Wash colors separately, and tumble dry low. Do not bleach.

What are these personalized blankets made out of?
Our sherpa blankets are made of poly sherpa which is a synthetic fabric made of polyester to match the warm feeling of sheep skin and wool. They also are made with flannel material.

Our fleece blankets are made of velveteen mink fleece which is a polyester material that allows for beautiful personalized photos to come to life.

Which of these customized blankets is heavier?
Sherpa is heavier than fleece. Sherpa has a resemblance to wool in terms of warmth and softness, which means it will help keep you warmer.
How many custom blankets can be ordered at once?
Sensaria is a global print-on-demand wall and home decor company that is able to scale to your company’s needs. We are able to handle orders from small to large across our expansive collection of products.
How should a print-ready file be set up?
Images should be sized at 100% dimensions at a minimum 150 dpi with an Adobe RGB color space. Custom picture blankets require a 1.25″ bleed to allow for sewing. Connect with our Integrations team for more information.
